Treatment of Children

One of the most common questions that we get asked is “what age should I bring my child in for their first appointment?” Unfortunately, this can be a difficult question to answer because the age of your child and the development of their teeth do not necessarily always match up.

Our advice is to book your first appointment for your child early so that we can begin to establish positive experiences at the dental office. Commonly, this is when they already have a few of their baby teeth or 2 years of age. At King Street Dental we do our utmost to provide a friendly and accommodating environment for your children. This means that we will work with you and your child at a pace that suits them – whether the first appointment is merely a quick look, or if your child has to sit on your lap for the appointment, we will do what it takes to make their experience a fun one while ensuring they are developing their teeth properly.

And of course, every child loves the toy box after their appointment!
